How to get started
Apply with your demos
Send an email to applications@thevocalmarket.com with a short intro about yourself, links to your music (SoundCloud, Spotify, Instagram), and a few vocal stems you've recorded. We personally review every application — we want to get to know the person behind the voice. No automated forms, no bots. Just a real conversation.
Get approved and start uploading
Once approved, you get access to your own vocalist dashboard. This is your control center — upload vocals, manage your catalog, track sales in real time, and check your payment history. Upload as many vocals as you want, whenever you want. You're a professional and we trust your quality.
Earn from every sale
When a producer buys one of your vocals, you earn 70% of the sale. We handle everything else — payment processing, licensing, customer support, and marketing. You focus on what you do best: recording great vocals. Every sale is tracked in your dashboard so you always know exactly what you've earned.
How you earn
The split is simple: you keep 70%, we take 30%.
Our 30% covers platform maintenance, payment processing, marketing to bring producers to the site, customer support, and licensing administration. You don't pay anything upfront — no listing fees, no subscription, no hidden costs. You only share revenue when a sale actually happens.
Non-exclusive vocals — Set your own price. Sell to unlimited producers. One recording can generate revenue for years as producers continue discovering it.
Exclusive vocals — Charge a premium. The vocal is sold once and removed from the store. The producer gets a unique vocal nobody else has. You get a bigger one-time payout.

What happens when a producer buys your vocal
When a producer purchases one of your vocals, they instantly receive the vocal stems you uploaded — both the dry and wet versions. They also receive a commercial use license that gives them the right to use your vocal in one original track and release it on any platform worldwide (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, etc.).
The license is clear: no royalties flow back to you or to us from the producer's track. The producer keeps 100% of their track's revenue. This is what makes our platform attractive to producers — and the more producers that trust us, the more sales you make.
What we look for in vocalists
We're building a curated marketplace, not an open upload platform. Every vocalist is personally approved to make sure the quality stays high.
Recording quality
Clean recordings with minimal background noise. You don't need a $10,000 studio, but your recordings should sound professional. A treated room, a decent mic, and solid recording technique go a long way.
Vocal ability
Strong pitch, good timing, and genuine emotion. We want vocals that producers can build tracks around.
Stems format
WAV files (44.1kHz or 48kHz, 24-bit). Include both dry stems (raw, no effects) and wet stems (with your preferred processing). Label files clearly with song name, key, and BPM.
All genres welcome
Pop, EDM, house, hip-hop, R&B, Afrobeats, Latin, indie, rock, techno, trance, drum and bass — if producers want it, we want it.
Covers welcome
Recorded covers of existing songs are accepted and labeled as cover vocals. Original compositions are also welcome.
