I'm a soul and R&B singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles. Cherokee, jazz trained, and most useful to a producer on anything that needs real feeling in the take rather than a technically perfect one. I studied Musicianship, Artistry Development and Entrepreneurship at the University of Miami's Frost School of Music, and I've spent the last five years releasing my own music and singing on other people's. My own catalog lives in R&B and indie pop with a lot of jazz and soul underneath it, so I move comfortably between a close, breathy verse and a full chorus, and I know how to stack background vocals so they sit behind the lead instead of fighting it. I've also spent three years running social and campaigns for a national smooth jazz brand, so that world isn't foreign to me either.
